I am writing this as I procrastinate from packing for my flight back home later today. I always seem to find myself waiting until the very last minute to pack and get ready for my travels. And by last minute, I don’t mean that I wait until an hour before my flight to call my Uber. Rather, I call my Uber to the airport (usually about 2 hours before my departure time) and then I start packing. It’s a fun little game I like to play to see how efficient I can be at getting ready before going back to Arizona. I think it’s more that I’ve become more used to it the past five years given the frequency of my flying. I am a ~seasoned~ pro.
Anyways.
As I prepare for the week ahead at home and reflect on the many great moments from the past few months I’ve had here in Boston, I wanted to share some songs that I’ve had on repeat recently and a book recommendation from this summer. If you find the time to listen to a song or read the book, I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Enjoy :)

Wires - Spirit of the Bear
What Can I Do - Penelope Road

Book: The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
A wonderful, emotional, and beautiful coming-of-age novel by one of my favorite authors. I first was introduced to Donna Tartt through A Secret History (another book I highly recommend) and just fell in love with her writing and storytelling. I don’t want to spoil any part of it, but the themes and stories of the book are so relatable and pertinent to life and relationships. Tartt explores grief, love, friendship, and maturity in such a palatable way. While it is on the longer side, I think that it is such a rewarding book to read.
Well, that’s all I’ve got for this week. I hope you all enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and the many blessings this time of year bring to us. Be on the lookout for more personal and reflective pieces from me as the year comes to an end. Be well.
